How are you defining the role of your RevOps person at your company?

I have buy-in to post a role, but I need help writing the job description. What’s yours?

We knew we had some operations problems, so we asked everyone to write down how they spent their time on a weekly basis. We realized that our managers were spending half of their time getting their reports to work because of their reporting requirements… we started the RevOps job description around that.

🤔 Interesting, why did you start there?
My CEO keeps confusing RevOps with marketing strategy and I’m trying to help him understand.
We went through the same thing! We ended up breaking down all of the things we needed to do in order to meet the goal and categorized them by function, separating our growth marketing and operations. We color-coded it to make it really obvious.
